| Wilde received our first '09 Fit.(8/08) A Sport Navigation Automatic with the paddle shifting capability. Exterior the car has much smoother lines than the prior generation. Nice wide stance and well proportioned looks. Amazing ergonomics throughout the car. Well thought out cup holders and storage areas. The rear seats tumble and lay completely flat with ease to maximize the cargo area. Seats have been upgraded with nicer fabrics and better support. New layout on the dash with everything in perfect placement and easy reach. Upgraded textures and materials throughout the cabin. Instrument panel has fuel economy read out and maintenance % reminder. Good sound system with both an Aux. mini jack input and USB drive. Keep a whole juke box of music in your upper glove box. When USB drive is used all your downloaded music files display on the screen. You can work it as an MP3 without the MP3 player. The Fits frame is solid and targeted to achieve a 5 star crash rating. This latest generation offers a quiet ride and a more secure bigger car feeling on the road. The telescoping and tilt steering wheel has a great feel. Matched with the electronic power assist steering this car is a blast to drive through twisty roads. Decent acceleration for a non broken in car, I was fairly easy on it. (Only 12 miles on the car)The last prior generation Fit I drove was well broken in with almost 20,000 miles on it so its hard to say if the HP increase is noticeable. It seemed like a longer smoother power band. Over all I am impressed with this Fit. Of course being a Honda salesman one would expect me to say this. I just hope we can keep them coming in fast enough for the demand. Stop out for your own test drive to see if this car is the perfect "fit" for your needs. Contact me for updated availability. |
