Honda Hybrids

A leader in the development of cleaner, more fuel-efficient mobility
products, Honda introduced to market the first mass produced
low-emission gasoline vehicles; America's first commercially
produced gas-electric hybrid car and the world's first EPA-certified
hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle, the FCX. Honda was named
"greenest automaker" by the Union of Concerned Scientists
for the fourth straight time.

This new Insight breaks new ground as an affordable hybrid within the reach of customers who want

Ecological Drive Assist System
Eco Assist combines Honda's driver-activated "Econ" mode that optimizes control of the vehicle's
transmission, engine and related powertrain components to conserve fuel, along with a feedback
function that uses speedometer background color to provide guidance on environmentally responsible
driving. Also included is a scoring function that provides feedback about current driving practices, as

“Compact Renaissance Zero,” the CR-Z is a forward-thinking exercise in
inspired design and environmental technology. The CR-Z draws its
inspiration from a need to deliver spirited performance in an efficient
manner. To be powered by the Civic's 1.8L 4 Cyl. and matched with
Honda's Integrated Motor Assist hybrid technology.

20?? CR-Z

As this is primarily a design concept, Honda’s keeping mum about powertrain
options. In designing the OSM, which bowed at the British auto show, Honda
aimed for a look that was “clean and dynamic.” As such, the roadster shares
many similarities with the CR-Z, including a sweeping front end with narrow
LED lights and a gaping air intake. The rear end is rounded and bulbous
with a giant strip of LED taillights. In fact, the OSM looks like a convertible
version of the CR-Z.

Concept FC Sport

The FC Sport can be summed up like this: Imagine beating your best lap
time while hearing nothing but the tires rubbing the tarmac and the quiet

supercar with all the speed, handling and sleek looks of today's fastest
sports cars, yet without the noise, heat, vibration and emissions of the
internal-combustion engine.

2009 FCX

The most distinctive feature of the FCX Clarity—other than the fuel cell
itself—is the streamlined layout made possible by its compact and efficient
powertrain components.
The fuel cell combines hydrogen with oxygen to make electricity. The
electricity then powers the electric motor, which in turn propels the vehicle.
Water is the only byproduct the FCX Clarity leaves behind.
